Come and learn to make felt !

I teach a variety of classes. One on one workshops are available in my studio here in Somerset Uk. I am also available for private small workshops if it is something you and a group of friends would enjoy or corporate groups for work days. Please do get in touch and email me.

NUNO FELT WRIST WARMER WORKSHOP

Come and learn to make Nuno felt and make your own pair of merino wool wrist warmers. Learn to use a resist to make 3d form using the wet felting technique. Beginners welcome. This a great workshop to do as a precursor to doing one of my waistcoat workshops.

Butleigh church hall, Butleigh village.

It is 4 miles from Glastonbury town where there are plenty of places to stay and it’s a great place to visit!

All materials provided

10 am – 2.30 pm

Bring your own pack lunch. Tea and coffee are provided.

SCULPTURAL FELT WAISTCOAT WORKSHOP

MAY 11TH – 12TH ( THURSADY AND FRIDAY) 11am – 3pm.

Sliding scale of £225 – £195 dependant on your income. Limited spaces of 3 only.

Come and make your own made to measure seamless waistcoat. Learn the technique of Nuno felting – shrinking wool onto fabric using the wet felting technique. You willlearn how to make a resist, calculate measurements and wet felt a seamless 3d garment.

Some wet felting experience is needed. This is a large piece to felt so strong arms too!

All materials provided and a vegetarian lunch.

This is NON RESIDENTIAL – there are plenty of great places to stay in Glastonbury and surrounding villages , Glastonbury has lots of interesting places to visit too.

FELT WAISTCOAT WORKSHOP

Come and make your own seamless felt waistcoat.

On this two-day workshop, you will learn the technique of Nuno felting, wet felting wool onto fabric with a resist to create a 3d seamless garment, how to calculate measurements and make your own made-to-measure waistcoat.

Some wet felting experience is best for this as it is a large piece and strong arms!
